DBasia.news –  Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti condemned the suspect that threw stones at Wanda Nara’s car, wife and agent of the Inter striker, Mauro Icardi. Inter’s internal situation has intensified since the club removed Icardi’s captain’s armband and gave it to Samir Handanovic.

Wanda also plays the role of Icard’si agent. Wanda was alleged to be the reason for Icardi’s never ending contract with Inter. Inter meant to extend his contract, which expires in 2021, with a salary increase and a purchase clause.

Nerazzurri did it because they didn’t want to lose Icardi to another club. However, the negotiations did not reached a light because Icardi, as represented by Wanda, had his own opinion regarding the salary and desired purchase clause.

That consideration was allegedly the reason behind the removal of Icardi’s captain’s position. Inter wanted to make Icardi an example: that there are no players that possess a special status in the club or is a golden child.

Icardi then responded by commenting on social media, as well as ‘rebelling’ by not entering Inter’s squad, against Rapid Wien in the Europa League last 32 first leg – Inter won 1-0 via a Lautaro Martinez goal.

Inter’s internal polemic is believed to have triggered hardline fans by committing terror towards Wanda. On Saturday (16/2), Wanda’s car was reportedly stoned by an actor who had not been captured and his name is known.

The news came to Spalletti and the former AS Roma coach hopes that the perpetrators would be immediately arrested. “I hope that anyone who did it (pelted Wanda’s car with stones) is found and arrested, because that attitude is unacceptable,” said Spalletti, as reported by AS.

The bald-headed coach also explained Inter’s decision to remove Icardi’s armband. According to him, it was not easy to do so, but it was for the good of the club, the required actions must be taken by Inter. As Icardi is also unfocused in playing despite the situation of his contract.

“We made a very painful decision. However, if you have a certain role in an organization, the most important thing is justice,” Spalletti said.

“We have to do everything fairly and well for the good of the squad, and for Inter. We are very open and honest in the locker room. We have made a decision that neverintended to corner Icardi, this was taken for the good of Inter.”

“Obviously I can’t talk in detail about the conversation (when Spalletti met Icardi). We talked with honesty and professionalism. The spirit of the team and the dynamics of the squad were more important than individuals,” concluded Spalletti.

Icardi’s name did not make it through Inter’s squad against his former club, Sampdoria, on Week 24 of Serie A, Monday (18/2) 00.00 a.m. WIB. Not because of problems, Icardi was sidelined with injury with Keita Balde.
