Luis Suarez Reaches an Agreement with Juventus
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Barcelona striker, Luis Suarez is rumored to be joining Juventus next week. As per Tuttomercatto’s report, Luis Suarez has agreed with Juventus regarding a contract value of 10 million euros (equivalent to Rp.174.7 billion) with a duration of two seasons.
Vidal is reportedly getting closer to joining Inter Milan and reuniting with Antonio Conte after his contract expires this summer. Meanwhile, it was reported that Marca had reached a personal agreement with Suarez.
Suarez (33 years old) will be a substitute for Gonzalo Higuain who will leave after being told that he did not enter Andrea Pirlo (Juventus coach) plans. Although his best friend, Messi stays, El Pistolero -Suarez’s nickname – still wants to leave.
Suarez, who has been at Barca since 2014 and achieved success, reportedly agreed to a two-year contract duration with an option to extend a year from Juventus. His annual salary reaches 10 million euros and is less than what he receives at Barca.
However, Barcelona do not want to just let go of Suarez, whose contract expires in 2021 and also has the option to extend for a year. If Suarez plays 60 percent of Barca’s matches in the 2020-2021 season then the yearly extension option is automatically active.
Barcelona are looking for ways to have the added advantage of selling Suarez. The Blaugrana will try to follow Rakitic’s transfer to Sevilla when they do not pay the remainder of his contract and instead receive 1.5 million euros from Sevilla.
There is even nine million euros still to be received by Barca if Rakitic appears to achieve the performance targeted with Sevilla. The point in the contract that Barca wants is Suarez: the bonus depends on Suarez’s performance if he moves to Juve.
No doubt negotiations will continue and Juventus are pressed for time as Suarez’s enthusiasts are quite high, namely from PSG (Paris Saint-Germain), Atletico Madrid, Inter Miami, to Leicester City.
