Nabil Fekir
DBasia.news – Lyon midfielder and captain Nabil Fekir will most likely leave the team nicknamed Les Gones in the transfer market this summer.
Fekir entered his last year of the contract period in Lyon. The service period of the Frenchman will finish in June 2020.
Noted, Fekir is a product of the Lyon academy. The 25-year-old has joined the first team since 2013.
“For now, the only possibility for the player to be released is Fekir,” Lyon’s sporting director Juninho Pernambucano said.
“We want him to stay. But it is difficult to convince him to continue with us. He is a world champion (with the French national team) plus many of his generation colleagues have come out,” he said again.
Even so, it is known that there has been no offer for Fekir since Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas expressed his willingness to negotiate.
