DBasia.news – Inter Milan winger, Alexis Sanchez admitted that he was thrilled to be able to receive a permanent contract with the Nerazzurri. Previously, Sanchez’s status was only on loan from Manchester United.
Sanchez is a loan player from the Red Devils in the 2019/2020 season. However, Sanchez’s impressive performance has made Inter management interested in changing his status as a permanent player in the Nerazzurri.
“I am very, very happy to be able to stay here with you. I think I have the desire to stay here because I have found a family, staff and everyone who wants to fight,” Sanchez said in a video message posted on Inter’s official Twitter as reported from Italian Football, Friday (7/8).
The Chilean striker signed a permanent three-year contract at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. The 31-year-old footballer is also happy to stay in Italy rather than having to return to MU.
The former Barcelona striker also admitted that he was ambitious to win the title with Antonio Conte’s squad.
“I’m hungry and want to win something, so I’m very happy to be here, with you, to win something.”
During this season with La Benemata, Sanchez has played 30 games with four goals and 10 assists, while helping Inter to finish as runners-up in the Italian Serie A standings under Juventus.
