Madura United Are Delighted of the Liga 1 Return

DBasia.news – PSSI is finally taking the temporary termination of the 2018 Liga 1. PSSI confirmed that the 2018 Liga 1 will be start over on October 5, 2018.

“By this, we decide to take the temporary termination status of 2018 Liga 1 and ask PT Liga Indonesia Baru to conduct the 2018 Liga 1 since October 5, 2018,” wrote the statement.

The decision about 2018 Liga 1’s return made Liga 1 clubs are delighted, including Madura United.

“Club’s life is competition. If the competition is not conducted, it will be a chaos. Thank you PSSI for taking care of the clubs by reconducting the competition,” said Madura United manager Haruna Soemitro, Tuesday (2/10).

According to the newest release from PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB),Madura United will meet Persib Bandung as scheduled. The match will be conducted on Tuesday (9/10), but there is no confirmation about the venue.

Persib have to be punished to conduct the match outside Java Island until the competition ends. Based on the information, Persib are still negotiating with the stadium management in Kalimantan.
