Man United Proceeds to Champions League, Solskjaer Doesn’t Want to be Arrogant

DBasia.news – Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed several challenges ahead in the Champions League next season. According to him, The Red Devils need to prepare themselves.

Manchester United qualified for the Champions League after finishing third in the 2019-2020 Premier League final standings. In the last match, The Red Devils defeated Leicester City two goals without reply.

Solskjaer is as happy as Man United that could be ranked third. Moreover, at the beginning of the season, David de Gea and his friends had stumbled in the middle of the standings.

“Ranking third is fantastic. The players have experienced a lot,” Solskjaer said on the official Manchester United website.

“I have to say this is an extraordinary achievement from everyone. Staff, they are amazing. I did chat with everyone this morning about whatever was going to happen. We have come this far as a team.”

“We are building a culture and I am very proud of their efforts. I am very pleased with the efforts of the players because to win this match requires a strong mentality,” said the manager.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will prepare the team to fight in the Champions League next season. The Red Devils need to improve their quality as they will meet the best clubs in Europe.

“For the team, this means the opponents will be better next year and a better match. We must improve the quality,” said Solskjaer.

“That means that every midweek we face a Champions League match. You have to leave with the best team.”

“It’s not like the Europa League where you can rest players and give minutes of play to young players. You have to be fitter and stronger,” Solskjaer said.
