Eric Bailly
DBasia.news – Manchester United are still waiting patiently for Eric Bailly’s best performance. Hence, Daily Mail reported The Red Devils won’t sell Bailly to the rival, Arsenal.
Currently, Eric Bailly’s situation in Manchester United isn’t going really well. His performance is declining when Jose Mourinho was still there. At that time Bailly often created some mistakes in the defensive line.
After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over, Bailly’s situation remains the same. The 24-year-old player hasn’t got the trust from the manager. Moreover, he just performed once from seven Solskjaer matches with Manchester United.
Eric Bailly’s average performance triggered Manchester United postponed his contract renewal. Even though they have the option to renew the contract for another two seasons, The Red Devils want to observe his progress.
However, Arsenal are still interested in him. The Gunners want to lend him until the end of this season with the release clause.
Daily Mail reported Manchester United refused that idea. The Red Devils won’t release Bailly to the England club considering the rivalry.
Meanwhile, Arsenal need another defender due to the injuries. So far, The Gunners lose the defenders like Rob Holding and recently Hector Bellerin.
Arsenal would play against Manchester United in the FA Cup at Emirates Stadium, Friday (25/1). Besides competing in the FA Cup, both clubs are competing to qualify for the Champions League zone.
Eric Bailly to Arsenal’s Possibility: 30%
It would be hard to see Manchester United give Eric Bailly to Arsenal. Moreover, there’s no confirmation from the player. But, it might happen if The Gunners offer a high transfer fee.
