Manchester United Abort Barcelona’s Ambition to Get Ander Herrera Freely

DBasia.news – Barcelona were interested in recruiting Manchester United midfielder, Ander Herrera during the 2018 summer transfer market. It’s believed that Barcelona will try to sign him once the contract with Manchester United ends.

Ander Herrera’s contract with Manchester United will be over this season. The Red Devils are trying to extend his contract to not lose him freely in the 2019 summer transfer market.

The good news is, as reported by ESPN, Herrera is interested to extend the contract and won’t leave Manchester United freely. The Manchester City’s rival are anticipating Barcelona’s transfer movement.

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde is indeed admiring Herrera’s talent. No wonder, both worked together in Athletic Bilbao before Herrera joined Manchester United with ‎a £30M price tag.

This season, Herrera isn’t the main squad for Manchester United. He just played twice this season and didn’t join the team when they played 1-1 draw against Wolves due to an ankle injury.
