Manchester United and Arsenal Win in the First Europa League Group Match

DBasia.news –  Three English clubs: Arsenal, Manchester United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers, achieved different results in the first match of the Europa League group.

Unfortunately for Wolves, they failed to win despite playing at Molineux stadium against the Portuguese club, Braga. Ricardo Horta was decisive in Braga’s victory over a team trained by Portuguese coach Nuno Espirito Santo.

The defeat continued the negative period of Wolves who lost 2-5 to Chelsea in Week five of the Premier League last weekend. In contrast to Wolves, Arsenal and Man United both won.

Arsenal’s 3-0 goal party over Eintracht Frankfurt at the Commerzbank-Arena on Thursday (9/19) evening Western Indonesian Time. Bukayo Saka performed brilliantly in the match by giving two assists for goals from Joe Willock and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and listed his name on the scoreboard.

Frankfurt has also played with 10 players since Dominik Kohr was sent off in the 79th minute. For this result, Arsenal ended a record of never losing to Frankfurt, the Europa League semifinalists last season, in their home game.

Moving to Old Trafford, the Red Devils failed to take advantage of the status of the host to score more goals against a team from Kazakhstan, Astana. Man United’s game is boring and lacks the creativity to break through Astana’s layered defenses.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s team was able to score a goal on 73 minutes via Mason Greenwood’s kick. The 17-year-old striker dribbled past two Astana players, then ended with a goal struck between the legs of the keeper. United won 1-0.
