DBasia.news – Manchester United defender Luke Shaw apologized for the supporters following the 1-3 defeat against West Ham last weekend.
Many people blame the manager Jose Mourinho and his strategy. But Shaw assumed the teammates deserve the blame.
“We have to look at ourselves as players. We’re the ones who go on the pitch. The manager isn’t on the pitch is he?” Shaw said.
“If you want the truth I think it was honestly horrendous,” he said. “We didn’t look like a team that was going to beat West Ham. Individually and as a team we were awful.”
“It’s hard to take and we’re sorry to the fans for what they saw,” Shaw continued.
Currently, Man United are in the 10th position with 10 points from 7 matches.
