Manchester United’s Dumped Players Bring Inter Milan to the Europa League Final

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Inter Milan advanced to the 2019-2020 Europa League final after defeating Shakhtar Donetsk with a score of 5-0 at the Espirit Arena, Tuesday (18/8). The Manchester United outcast was said to have brought The Nerazzurri victory.

At the start of this season, Manchester United chose to release Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to Inter. Ashley Young then followed to join Italy in the winter transfer window.

Not without reason, Solskjaer dared to let go of his three players. He feels he already has a substitute that is no less qualified.

But that decision is now a blunder that Solskjaer might regret. The three players he dumped were able to take Inter to the Europa League final, something his team failed to do.

Manchester United’s move had to stop in the semifinals. The Red Devils were defeated 1-2 from Sevilla even though they created more opportunities.

The front line of Manchester United is like no one. The only goal against Sevilla only came from a penalty from Bruno Fernandes.

Meanwhile, Young and Lukaku have played an important role behind Inter’s success. The last name even contributed two goals against Shakhtar.

Lukaku also continued his positive trend in the Europa League. He has now scored goals in ten consecutive matches which is a new record.

This fact is like a hard slap for Manchester United who are having trouble scoring goals. This problem might not have happened if Lukaku had not been removed.

Now Young and Lukaku and Sanchez have the opportunity to add to Manchester United and Solskjaer’s regrets. The condition is of course after a defeat against Sevilla and winning the Europa League.
