Mancini says the level of the Spanish national team is above Italy

DBasia.news – Italy coach, Roberto Mancini, acknowledged the greatness of the Spanish national team who will be  his opponent in the UEFA Nations League semifinals. According to him, Spain has built the strength of their team much longer than Italy.

Italy will face Spain in the 2021 UEFA Nations League semifinals, at the San Siro Stadium, Thursday (7/5). The two teams would met each other again after the 2020 European Cup semifinals. At that time, Italy took the lead through a penalty shootout.

Mancini is aware, the quality of Spain is better than his team. La Furia Roja is reinforced by a number of young players with great potential. In addition, there were several senior retainers who were rich with experience.

“Spain are a strong team with good players. They played well. They were good at dribbling, whereas we didn’t have time to reach their level. However, this time it will be different,” Mancini told UEFA’s website.
