DBasia.news – The death of a Persija Jakarta supporter, Haringga Sirla, due to the attack from Bobotoh at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Sunday (23/9) made Persib Bandung in a difficult situation.
Persib Bandung coach Mario Gomez is questioning the request from many that his team got sanctioned. From fine, point reduction, until the disqualification from the 2018 Liga 1 member, due to the failure of conducting the prestigious match.
According to Mario, there is no regulation for point reduction of the failure to be the host. Moreover, the victim died outside the stadium.
“If there is a sanction, why don’t they apply it since the beginning? Why not from 2012 for the similar incident? Why not? The winner should be decided on the pitch, not in a room,” Mario regrets at GBLA Stadium, Wednesday (26/9).
Mario realized there are a lot of ways to kill the mentality of his squad. Moreover, his squad stay as the leader in Liga 1 standing with 44 points from 23 matches.
“I know some people, they don’t like our position and try to distract our focus to other things, but we set the focus to play against Madura,” he insisted.
