Mario Mandzukic Officially Joins AC Milan
By db-admin
DBasia.news – AC Milan does not want to waste the opportunity to recruit players in the winter transfer market (January 2021). Il Rossoneri wants to maintain their consistency in Serie A by recruiting former Juventus striker, Mario Mandzukic.
“AC Milan is pleased to announce the recruitment of Mario Mandzukic. The club and striker have agreed to an agreement until the end of this season with the option to extend the contract at the end,” wrote AC Milan’s official website.
Mario Mandzukic will wear the number nine jersey. His arrival adds to the options for Stefano Pioli on the front lines of Milan which already has Ante Rebic, Rafael Leao and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Mandzukic’s experience and quality can help Milan. The 34 year old striker has played for big teams such as Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Milan’s rivals, Juventus. The success he has achieved is quite large.
Packing 89 caps and 33 goals with the Croatian national team, he won two Bundesliga titles, one Champions League and four Scudettos. Besides being able to act as a center forward, Mandzukic can also be a wing striker.
The advantage is in hard work and a spirit of sacrifice for the team. Although striker, Mandzukic is also willing to step back to help the defense. Mandzukic could be a valuable asset for Milan to win the Scudetto this season.
