Marseille is in the hunt for Philippe Coutinho

DBasia.news – Marseille has reportedly joined in the hunt for Philippe Coutinho, who has also attracted interest from several Premier League clubs such as Everton, Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Brazilian attacking midfielder has struggled to stay fit throughout the 2020-21 season due to a knee meniscus injury. The injury forced him to undergo surgery twice and missed most of the game.

But according to Brazilian media, Marseille are willing to land the 28 year old player in the summer, as they prepare to feature in the Europa League.

Coutinho recently published a photo of himself on social media training ahead of Barcelona’s pre-season preparations.

The former Liverpool midfielder joined Barcelona for 120 million euros and a 40 million euro bonus but has not lived up to expectations and Barcelona may try to sell him to secure their balance sheet.
