DBasia.news – Uruguay Barcelona striker Luis Suarez gave his opinion of Lionel Messi who isn’t listed as the big three players of FIFA World Player of the Year in 2018. In that list, the three players are Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Mohamed Salah.
Suarez assumed, this condition won’t change Messi status as world best player proved on the pitch. “I don’t think that any award he does or doesn’t win takes anything away from what he has won and what he keeps on achieving,” Suarez said.
Messi scored 45 goals last season, the proof of his quality. “The prizes that are worth more are the ones you win on the pitch. An example of that is being top scorer, ” Suarez said.
“No one can take that away from you because you won it with the goals you scored, proving yourself on the pitch, not because of a vote by players and journalists,” Suarez added.
Suarez praised Messi as the best player he ever collaborated with. “For many people, and for me, he is the best player in history – because of what he signifies as a player and for what he’s done in the game,” said the 31-year-old player.
