Mesut Ozil Admits Arsenal is in Difficult Times

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  As his contract expires next year, German Playmaker Mesut Oezil does not yet know whether to continue his career at Arsenal.  Ozil claimed to be blind about his future at Arsenal when his contract at the club expires next year.

“After this season, I still have one more year, so after that, I will know because I cannot see the future.  “All I can do is give everything to the team, for myself, to be successful and let’s see what happens,” Mesut Oezil said at Soccerway.

Oezil has only missed one match in the Premier League since Mikel Arteta took over the Arsenal team last December.  With one year left on his contract, Oezil has been linked with a move to DC United at MLS or Fenerbahce in Turkey.

The player seems unsure of what will happen in the future, whether to extend his contract or move to another club once the contract expires.

What is clear, Oezil determined to perform an all-out and bring Arsenal to finish in the top four and return to the Champions League.

“We are having a difficult season, but we want to win more matches, to take points, maybe be in the top four at the end of the season.  Our goal is to be in the Champions League.  This year we are having a hard time, but I think we are in a good momentum, “Mesut Oezil added.

Mesut Oezil himself has defended Arsenal in 19 matches in all competitions this season.  He also donated two assists.
