Milinkovic-Savic Price Tag Is Higher than Pogba
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Just like the medieval war, Lazio are the fortress guarding the attacks from tribes (Europe clubs). The tribes come to steal the best war general of Lazio, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The war lasted long enough since the last season, during the 2018 World Cup, until the beginning of 2018/2019 season. Manchester United, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, and Real Madrid are closely related to the Serbian 23-year-old midfielder. However, Lazio remained calm with their decision to keep Milinkovic-Savic.
“Sergej is the best young player on the world scene, with huge potential. I have not received any official offers either from Milan or Juventus, let alone from Real or United. Of course, I do not push to sell him but if you ask me how much he is worth then I remember that last year, August 29, I refused a €110 million offer,” Lazio president Claudio Lotito said reported by Goal.
Last season, Milinkovic-Savic scored 12 goals from 35 matches in Serie A and almost brought Lazio passed the Champions League qualification. Lazio defeated from Inter who got the last ticket of Champions League in the fourth place of Serie A standings. While Lazio finished in the fifth position and played in the Europa League this season.
Lotito also believed that Milinkovic-Savic is better than Paul Pogba, Manchester United midfielder who broke the record of the most expensive midfielder in the world with the £89M price tag. Milinkovic-Savic is stronger physically and should be worth higher than the France player.
“How much has Pogba been sold to Manchester? €105 million? So Milinkovic is worth more because he is much stronger. And be clear, I’m not interested in technical counterparts or loan-type formulas,” Lotito insisted.
If this is the situation, the saga transfer or Milinkovic-Savic will continue until the Europe transfer market close in the end of August.
