Miralem Pjanic Can’t Wait to Play with Lionel Messi

DBasia.news – Miralem Pjanic said he was happy to be able to defend Barcelona. The happy expression was shown when he was officially introduced as the newest Blaugrana player at the Camp Nou, Tuesday (15/9).
The Bosnian player joined from Juventus in a deal worth 65 million euros and he is certain to wear the number eight jersey that Arthur previously used before moving to Juventus.
“Playing here is a great honor,” Pjanic told the press as quoted by Marca, Tuesday (15/9).
For him, a dream to play at Barcelona. According to Pjanic, being at the Camp Nou was something extraordinary which made him very happy.
“I am in the greatest team in the world and it’s a great honor. When I enter the dressing room, I look at history, trophies, this is a big opportunity for me,” he said.
He is happy that there are great players at his new club. Pjanic hopes to help with his experience and football.
When asked about Messi, Pjanic said he was happy that the Argentina national team captain had decided to stay at the Catalonia giant.
“For me, looking from outside (the club), I can’t imagine he is anywhere else but here,” he added.
“He’s a great player. There are always disappointments after losing, but this is his home. It’s hard for me to see him in another shirt.”
Pjanic also explained how important it is to have the best players in a club, as he has experienced with AS Roma and Juventus.
“He (Messi) is the best player of all time, and it is very important that he is still with us. I have not known him for long. I myself have played with (Francesco) Totti, Cristiano (Ronaldo), it is important for me to have these players beside me,” Concluded Pjanic.
