DBasia.news – Maurizio Sarri’s coach assistant in Chelsea, Marco Ianni, was stealing the spotlight after the goal celebration resulting in the provoking act to Jose Mourinho.
During the 9th-week of Premier League, Ianni ran celebrating the goal outside the technical area and approached Man United’s area.
His action provoked Mourinho who tried to chase him before stopped by the security.
Despite the intense situation, Sarri calmed down the scene. Sarri admitted that Ianni was wrong and asked his staff to apologize.
Even though there’s no longer any problem, but Ianni is still highlighted. Moreover, Ianni is under the pressure, especially from Manchester United’s fans in the social media.
Jose Mourinho
Mourinho is concerned with the situation. “I want to thank Sarri for his honesty,” Mourinho said. “I want to thank Chelsea for their honesty too, but I’m not happy that it’s going too far with the young boy,” Mourinho said.
“He doesn’t deserve more than what he got. He apologized to me, he deserves a second chance, he doesn’t deserve to be sacked. “
“I hope everybody does the same as I did and do not disturb the career of a great guy. End of story the moment he apologized to me. I don’t want the boy to go through more than that,” Mourinho said.
