DBasia.news – Manchester United (MU) was defeated by Aston Villa with a score of 0-1 in a pre-season match. However, MU coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is satisfied with Donny Van De Beek’s performance.

Manchester United held a trial match against Aston Villa as part of their preparations for the 2020-2021 Premier League. The Red Devils came home empty-handed after losing 1-0. Ollie Watkins’ goal in the 16th minute made the difference.

However, Solskjaer was reluctant to be disappointed. He considered, several players appeared brilliantly, including Dean Henderson. Currently, the goalkeeper is trying to shift David de Gea’s position.

“The results are not the main thing. Some things also show positive graphs. One of them is a matter of individual ability,” said Solskjaer as reported by MUTV.

“I think Dean Henderson showed his ability and played as a goalkeeper for Man United who got there, especially in the second half.”

In that match, Solskjaer also played a number of young players. One of the players who received a positive review from Solskjaer was Ethan Galbraith.

“Ethan Galbraith was with us in summer training in the Europa League and he received some time to play. You can see he’s got more time.”

“A couple of times he appeared to be struggling with the ball, but that’s a lesson that is needed. When he is back on the pitch he will be ready for it,” said the manager. Manchester United will have their first week of the 2020-2021 Premier League against Crystal Palace, at Old Trafford, Saturday (19/9). Man United’s schedule was delayed than other teams as they appeared in the final round
