Munchen Find New Sponsor, BMW As the Strongest Candidate

DBasia.news – Despite the domination in Bundesliga, Bayern Munchen keep on innovating. Recently, Bild reported that they will shift the sponsor on the jersey. The Germany huge automotive company, BMW, might be the new sponsor for Die Bayern.

At the same time, BMW has the headquarter in Munchen, the origin of Bayern Munchen. The automotive giant company was established in that city 102 years ago.

Bild reported BMW will take over Bayern Munchen share from Audi. It means Die Roten will start collaborating with BMW.

Later, Bayern Munchen’s automotive equipment will be provided by BMW, just like the current agreement with Audi.

Audi has been the main sponsor of Bayern Munchen since 2002. Then, in 2010, Audi took over 8,33 percent of FC Hollywood’s share.

According to Germany media, Audi could spend 120 million euro (Rp2,08 trillion) for Bayern Munchen for a season. The number symbolized the role of shareholder and sponsor.

 

 

BMW


Bild reported Bayern Munchen president Uli Hoeness wants to end the partnership with Audi. Hoeness prefers Die Bayern to collaborate with BMW.

The change of share ownership from Audi to BMW in Bayern Munchen requires a bit of intrigue issue. Audi will give Die Roten to BMW starting next season with one condition.

Audi is eyeing BMW former manager, Markus Duesmann, but it can’t be done due to the two-year agreement. Audi makes Bayern Munchen as the negotiating tool to get Duesmann.

Even though the acquisition will start next year, BMW won’t necessarily be the sponsor. Bayern Munchen still have the contract with current sponsor until 2025.
