Nicola Amoruso discourages Juventus from recruiting Paul Pogba
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Juventus player, Nicola Amoruso believes that the club does not need to recruit Paul Pogba as they have Cristiano Ronaldo who also has a large salary.
Amoruso also believes that the arrival of Pogba will only damage the condition of Juventus. Other players will start to be jealous of Pogba’s salary, creating small conflicts. However, Juventus management are unable to deal with problems like this.
“He will damage the balance of the locker room. I think this transfer is not right. They must reach a mutually beneficial agreement first, but actually I think the chance is very small,” Amoruso said, as quoted by Stats Perform.
Aside from salary, Pogba’s abilities does not to be doubted. Pogba was able to increase the overall value of the squad and Amoruso acknowledged Pogba as a winner.
“Pogba will be a valuable addition, he is a champion. He knows the environment of Juventus well and is really desired here,” he stated.
“However, I don’t think I would be bring in players with a salary of at least 15 million euros (around Rp. 245 billion) per year. They already had to take care of the salary of Cristiano Ronaldo who is the best player in the world like Lionel Messi.”
Rumors regarding Pogba’s move to Juventus became a hot topic, ahead of the opening of the summer transfer. The French midfielder is reportedly intending to leave Manchester United.
Aside from Juventus, La Liga giants, Real Madrid are also interested in accommodating him. Real Madrid has persuaded him with the charm of the coach, Zinedine Zidane and the chance to win the Champions League. Meanwhile, Juventus came as old friends.
In addition to salary issues, both teams need to consider Paul Pogba’s fitness problems. Throughout the 2019-2020 season, Pogba was more often absent than defending Manchester United because of injury.
