Steve McManaman Supports Real Madrid Sign Paul Pogba

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Former Real Madrid player Steve McManaman has supported Los Blancos in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. McManaman thinks Pogba will be a good signing to rejuvenate Madrid’s midfield.

Speculation regarding Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United is still one of the hot topics discussed. The reason is that the player has not shown any signs of extending his contract which will expire in June 2022.

Pogba’s departure from Old Trafford has strengthened after this week the player was confirmed to have suffered a thigh injury while training with the French national team. The injury will reportedly keep Pogba out until early next year.

Pogba himself in recent years has often been linked with news of interest from Real Madrid. Steve McManaman then supported his former club to sign Pogba. According to McManaman, Pogba is a player who will suit Los Blancos. Moreover, Pogba will be the most suitable solution for rejuvenating Madrid’s midfield.

“This is a very easy step for Real Madrid to do. You can get him for free so you don’t risk anything,” McManaman told Horseracing.net.

“He will be a valuable addition to the team because at the moment their team has Luka Modric who is 36 years old, Toni Kroos in his thirties and Casemiro will be 30 in February next year.”

“Of course you have other good players in the squad, but I don’t think it’s a problem to sign Pogba at all.”
