By db-admin
Nicolo Barella spoke up after scoring the winning goal in Inter Milan against Hellas Verona in Serie A.
Inter Milan were left behind in the early 45 minutes after Velerio Verre scored from the spot. Previously, Samir Handanovic violated the forbidden box.
Inter Milan were able to rise in the second half. The Nerazzurri leveled to 1-1 after Matias Vecino scored in the 65th minute. Then, Nicolo Barella emerged as a hero after listing his name on the scoreboard seven minutes before dispersal.
Barella’s goal process was quite beautiful. As these goals were born from long-distance kicks.
“We faced a difficult situation in the first half. Verona played well and had the intensity troubled us,” explained Barella as reported by Sky Sport Italia.
“After the break, our intensity increased and deserved the victory. We all gave our best and were highly motivated. So, that’s the most important thing,” added the player.
“This is a difficult period for us with many discussions. However, that is the reason why we trained hard last summer. We are ready for this.”
Nicolo Barella also was unable to contain his happiness after becoming a hero of Inter Milan’s victory. “I think that was the best goal of my career,” Barella stated.
