Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will Sell One of Manchester United’s Goalkeepers

DBasia.news – Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly going to sell one of the Red Devil goalkeepers in the transfer market this summer.

Manchester United now has three quality goalkeepers, David De Gea, Sergio Romero and Dean Handerson who had just returned from Sheffield United.

Solskjaer acknowledged that the three goalkeepers deserved a chance to maintan Manchester United’s goal. But unfortunately in matches, he can only play one of them.

“Competition within the team is important and we have to create competition for a position. We have Dean, Sergio and David at the moment, but it will be difficult of course to keep all three at the club,” said Solskjaer as quoted by ESPN.

“We’ll see what the decision will be like.”

De Gea is certainly still the favorite to be retained as Manchester United’s main goalkeeper. Even though he started to make frequent blunders, the Spanish national player had better experience than the other two goal keepers.

Dean Henderson also has a great chance of being defended. Apart from being young, his performances throughout last season with Sheffield have been impressive.

Romero has the smallest chance of being defended. Playing quite well as De Gea’s deputy, Manchester United would certainly not lose a great deal if they let him go.

Even so, Romero still has a chance to be defended. In condition, he appears impressively if he becomes a mainstay of Manchester United in the remaining matches of the Europa League.

Romero’s chances of survival could increase if Henderson refuses to become De Gea’s coating. The 23-year-old player is teased by Chelsea who intends to make him the number one goalkeeper to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga.
