Solskjaer Not Afraid to Put De Gea on the Bench

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer firmly said he had no worry about making the decision to put David de Gea on the bench for the remaining Premier League two matches. Solskjaer only wants the best players to defend The Red Devils.

David de Gea is getting a lot of attention. Reasonably because the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper often made blunders that made Manchester United failed to win.

De Gea’s last blunder was recorded when meeting Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinals. The resulting ball of the keeper save trial actually goes into the goal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer emphasized he would make the best decision about the position of the goalkeeper. Solskjaer will evaluate all players when the season ends.

“You have to make big decisions. Every position has a big role in this club. So you have to do what is most appropriate for the team and the club,” said Solskjaer as reported by Goal.

“We will do it on Wednesday and also Sunday. When the season ends, we will make a bigger decision,” he added.

So far, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy with the Manchester United squad, including David de Gea, who shows a steel mental.

“We will remain united as a team and as I said before, he proves to have a strong mentality. There are a lot of players who get the chance. Most appear neat. I am happy with this squad,” Solskjaer said.

Manchester United will host West Ham United in the 37th match of the 2019-2020 Premier League, at Old Trafford Stadium on Thursday (7/22).
