Paqueta Considered Unworthy to use Brazil’s Number 10
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Brazilian football legend, Rivaldo, thinks AC Milan midfielder, Lucas Paqueta, is unfit to use the number 10 jersey of the Samba team.
The Brazilian national team met their arch enemy, the Argentine national team, in a trial match. In that match, Seleccao surrendered 0-1 from their rival.
Even so, the spotlight was instead directed at Lucas Paqueta. As the 22-year-old player wore the legendary number 10 jersey for the Brazilian national team.
Not without reason, previously the number 10 was used by top players. Some of them like Kaka, Pele, Zico, Ronaldinho, and Rivaldo.
“I watched the Brazilian national team against Argentina and was disappointed to see the number 10 used by Lucas Paqueta. The number should be more respected,” Rivaldo wrote.
“Giving it to Lucas Paqueta is not respecting that number. The number 10 is used by names like Pele, Rivelino, Zico, Rivaldo, Kaka and Neymar.”
“I do not blame Lucas Paqueta, but Tite. He should not burden the 22-year-old player like Paqueta who can have a bright future,” he continued.
