DBasia.news –  Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has confidence that his team can still beat Barcelona at Camp Nou. Barcelona is considered to have obvious weaknesses.

Manchester United were beaten by Barcelona 1-0 in the first leg of the 2018-2019 Champions League quarter-final, at Old Trafford Stadium, Wednesday (10/4) local time. The only goal of El Barca was resulted from Luke Shaw’s own goal in the 12th minute.

Despite getting a minor result at the first meeting, Pogba was optimistic Manchester United could advance to the semifinals. The ex Juventus believes Man United never gives a chance to Barcelona.

“We see a team that can be defeated. If you don’t believe it, you just let them do it. We believe we can beat them,” Pogba said as quoted by the club’s official website.

“We are Manchester United, they are Barcelona, but we are Man United and compete in the Champions League, as they are. Of course we can go through it.”

“Obviously you play against one of the best clubs in the world. However, we give them some problems. We know it can hurt them,” Pogba explained.

Pogba considers that Barcelona did not master the game. The French player believes Blaugrana only got one chance from Philippe Coutinho in the 36th minute.

“We never gave them a lot of opportunities at Camp Nou. We competed 1-0 on aggregate, but we must continue to believe. This is a Champions League match and we know we can beat them,” Pogba said.

Manchester United are experienced in making a comeback. When Paris Saint-Germain met in the last 16, the Red Devils lost 2-0 in the first leg, but won 3-1 in Paris.
