Paul Pogba’s lack of contribution at Manchester United
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Peter Schemeichel, a Manchester United legend, considers Paul Pogba problematic in a club dubbed the Red Devils.
Pogba performed relatively poorly when Man United was held to a 1-1 draw at Arsenal in the last week of the English Premier League on Tuesday (2/10) early morning Western Indonesian Time.
The midfielder who won the 2018 World Cup with the French national team was revealed as a starter after recovering from an ankle injury that had kept him out of United’s previous three matches.
“The movement of the ball when Pogba is in the team is different. He needs to accelerate the ball a little,” said Schmeichel as reported by Astro Stadium.
“Pogba slowed the flow of the ball. In the first 25 minutes, he tends to push the ball into his defense,” said the Danish man. “For a player of his caliber, it’s disappointing. I don’t understand what his role is in this team,” he said.
“There are two very good operands from Pogba, but that’s [only] two, not 15. It’s a problem. He stole a lot of attention. He feels like a problem child in this team,” he concluded.
Pogba has indeed become the United player who drew the most media attention at the start of this summer. Yes, especially if it is not about the issue of the transfer to Real Madrid.
