Paul Scholes Had Been Made Curious by Marcus Rashford
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Paul Scholes seems to have a hidden talent in finding reliable talent. This can be seen from his confession who had witnessed the action of Marcus Rashford when he was young.
Scholes apparently had seen Rashford’s great talent long before Louis Van Gaal. As is known, the Dutchman gave the attacker the chance to make his debut in the Manchester United first team in 2016.
While Scholes has been intrigued by Rashford’s ability since before retiring in 2013. He had seen the appearance of the wonderkid at Manchester United’s training ground.
“I always remember watching it when I was a kid. I thought he was a center of attack with intelligent and capable movements,” Scholes told UTD Podcast.
“Sometimes I come to the game just to watch it. I don’t pay too much attention to the ball because it comes to see its movements.”
Rashford is indeed the original product of the Manchester United academy. He has been defending this club since he was seven years old.
Now Rashford is growing up. Scholes’ prediction is slowly beginning to materialize.
The player who is now 2 years old began to become the mainstay of the Red Devils on the front lines. This season he has scored 19 goals in all competitions.
“I am very happy because he was able to enter the first team even though initially there was a luck factor. He showed his talent as a central attacker and wing attacker,” he concluded.
