Pellegrini Hasn’t Thought of West Ham’s Opportunity to the Top Three

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  West Ham United manager, Manuel Pellegrini, admitted that he did not want to think about the chances of his team going up to third place in the Premier League standing ahead of the away match against Everton at Goodison Park Stadium, Saturday (19/10).

“We cannot think about that, but we must focus on preparing for the match later,” Pellegrini said.

“At the moment we have to try to improve our performances, play better, attack more while strengthening our defense,” he added.

West Ham are currently ranked eighth in the standings with 12 points and if they can win by a goal difference of three or more they can jump up to third in the eviction of Arsenal (15).

Judging by the match against Palace, West Ham was ahead of their guests, but a penalty that was followed by another goal three minutes before dispersal has made the team be defeated 1-2.

“We lost three points and now we have to win it at Everton,” said the Chilean coach.
