DBasia.news – Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, believes Liverpool can break the Premier League record.
Judging by Liverpool’s latest performance, they had the opportunity to break Arsenal’s record. Pep Guardiola claimed something like that could happen and said the record was there to be broken.
“Yes, that (record breaking) could have happened. The record is there to be broken. Manchester City has done what was predicted could not be done,” Pep Guardiola stated.
“Sooner or later, the record will be broken. History shows that. To beat Liverpool? There is no easy way to do so.”
“In my opinion, right now Liverpool are not an easy opponent. They found a way to win several matches,” added the former Barcelona coach.
Currently Manchester City is ranked second in the Premier League standings 2019-2020. However, The Citizens are 16 points behind Liverpool who are at the top.
