Pep Guardiola Confident in Winning the Manchester Derby
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, feels confident that he can beat Manchester United ahead of the Premier League match at Old Trafford Stadium, Sunday (8/3) PM. He claimed that his players were ready to face the Red Devils.
City’s positive trend continues, especially after overthrowing Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League and continuing successfully winning the League Cup. No wonder Pep Guardiola is increasingly convinced that his team are ready to face Manchester United.
“Tomorrow we will watch Man United’s match against Derby County. We will analyze how they play,” Guardiola said as quoted by FourFourTwo.
Against Wednesday, Sergio Aguero was the key holder of City’s victory. Strengthening City since 2011-12, Sergio Aguero has now scored 254 goals for The Citizens. Aguero is currently the player who has scored the most goals for the Manchester club.
“In the match against Wednesday, we spent a lot of energy, but the players were ready for the next match,” Guardiola said.
“The victory over Wednesday is our fourth in a row. Hopefully in Sunday’s match at Old Trafford, this trend can continue,” he added.
