Persebaya Coach Requests for Enhanced Security in the Match Against Arema

DBasia.news – Persebaya Surabaya will visit Arema home for the Liga 1 match on Sunday (6/10). The match will be conducted at Kanjuruhan Stadium Malang.

Ahead of the match, Persebaya insisted that they don’t want the incident of Persib Bandung to happen again. Hence, Persebaya ask Arema FC’s organizing committee to learn from the incident.

All this time, the rivalry between Aremania and Bonek is always intense. To avoid the unexpected incident, Arema’s organizing committee must guarantee the safety for the player and management of Persebaya.

“The security needs to be enhanced. When I coached Persib, I also rode the barracuda in Malang,” said Djadjang Nurdjaman, Persebaya coach.

Djanur added the players know the consequence due to the termination. He believes the situation won’t give any impact for their readiness.

“I think since the beginning the players are ready with the consequences. We have been preparing since before the termination,” said the 53-year-old coach.

Even though asking the organizing committee of Arema to learn from the previous incident, Persebaya believe Arema FC will provide the safety for Bajul Ijo, especially considering the intense rivalry between the two teams. Certainly, the security factor would be the special attention for Arema FC’s organizing committee.

“We believe the friends from Arema organizing committee in Malang really understand the best. The incident in Bandung should be the attention for all parties. Moreover, if the rivalry becomes like this,” Persebaya manager Candra Wahyudi said on the different occasion.

“The spirit is good. Moreover, the regulation enforces the additional quota for the away team. If we can arrange it together, we will discuss,” he added regarding the quota for Bonek during the away match in Malang.

The same thing uttered by Persebaya captain Rendi Irwan who hopes Bonek will support from Surabaya. “Be the militant, loyal and logic Bonek. Don’t force yourself to come,” he emphasized.
