DBasia.news – The clash broke in 2018 Liga 2 match when Persegres Gresik United played against Persiwa Wamena in the 16th match of East Region. The match at Gelora Joko Samudro Stadium Gresik ended with a 2-1 victory for the host in front of the loyal supporters.
Ironically, there was a clash in the winning of Ultras Mania team. Persegres GU penalty kick at 78′ was the trigger of 10-minutes break.
At first, both teams who stay in degradation zone played attractively. Persiwa stole the first goal at 18′ by the kick from Khairul Azmi Pratama and replied by Taufan Hidayat goal at 45′.
But, the situation was getting intense when Abdul Razak pointed to the white spot due to David Faristian’s foul. Persiwa player went awry, punched and kicked the South Sulawesi referee.
“Let’s say our point was stolen by the referee. The logic is how their player can have the foul when the position is behind us,” Persiwa Wamena coach Suimin Diharja said after the match.
After the humiliating incident, Abdul Razak ran to the dressing room. He returned to the pitch 10 minutes later and insisted on giving two red cards and one yellow card, also penalty kick as the punishment for Persiwa.
“In fact, both played balance and there was no problem,” said the experienced coach.
Obet Rivaldo Yulius’ penalty kick couldn’t be compensated by Persiwa playing with 9 players. The final score was 2-1 for the host.
“It’s unfortunate because football should be sportive. I guess it’s the sanction,” said Persegres Gresik United coach Sanusi Rahman.
