By db-admin
DBasia.news – Philippe Coutinho wants to focus on the Champions League final and lift the trophy with Bayern Munich. He does not want to think about his future on whether to stay or to join another club.
It is known that Coutinho will not continue at Bayern next season. Die Roten has decided not to make his status permanent
Unfortunately, he was said to no longer have a place at Barcelona. The new coach, Ronald Koeman, did not answer firmly when asked about Coutinho’s fate. The reason is, he needs time to get to know his team.
Rumors are circulating, Coutinho wants to return to the Premier League. Arsenal is one of the teams linked with the Brazilian midfielder.
Ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on Monday (24/8) AM, Coutinho again indicated that he would only discuss the matter of transfers once the Champions League was over.
“My mind is really focused on the Champions League. This is a unique opportunity for us. I am happy to be in the final,” said Coutinho to Esporte Interativo.
“Regarding my future, now I don’t think I want to play in the final first,” explained the 28-year-old player.
While at Bayern, Coutinho has scored 11 goals and 9 assists in 37 games, including his two goals and one assist when he beat Barcelona 8-2 in the Champions League quarter-finals.
If Bayern wins the Champions League final, which means Coutinho will also win, Barcelona will reportedly have to pay an additional 4.5 million pound bonus to Liverpool.
