DBasia.news – There is no guarantee Philippe Coutinho will continue to stay forever with Barcelona. The player spoke up about his future regarding the issue of interest from Manchester United.
Philippe Coutinho joined Barcelona in January 2018. At that time, El Barca had to spend funds up to 142 million euros to convince Liverpool to release Coutinho.
However, Philippe Coutinho has difficulties adapting and penetrating Barcelona’s main squad. So, Ernesto Valverde put him more on the bench this season. Coutinho has only played three times in the last 12 matches at LaLiga.
Growing speculation says a number of clubs are interested in getting Coutinho including Manchester United. The Red Devils will begin the talk this summer.
“We never know what will happen in the future,” said Coutinho after appearing in the match against Sevilla as reported by BEIN Sport.
However, Philippe Coutinho doesn’t want rumors surrounding Manchester United to disrupt his performance at Barcelona. The former Inter Milan just wanted to show the best.
“For now I don’t want to think about transfer rumors because what I think now is working hard,” Coutinho stressed.
However, Manchester United’s move to get Philippe Coutinho will not be easy. The 26-year-old player is still under contract until June 2023. In addition, Transfermarkt reported that Coutinho was worth no less than 140 million Euros.
