Pippo Inzaghi Will Be Replaced By Cesare Prandelli

DBasia.news – Pippo Inzaghi moved quickly to improve Bologna’s performance unless he will get fired. No wonder, in 2018-2019 Serie A, Bologna just scored one point from four matches. With the promotional team Frosinone, they become the goalless teams.

Recently, Bologna got defeated by Genoa with a 0-1 score on Sunday (16/9). Now, the firing issue of SS Lazio coach brother Simone Inzaghi is appearing. Moreover in the match against Genoa, in the spectator seat, there was the former coach of Fiorentina, Italy, Galatasaray, and Valencia, Cesare Prandelli.

Regarding his firing issue, Pippo insisted he remained calm. He claimed Mattia Destro and friends’ performance is now much better. However, he admitted there is a big homework to improve the front line of the team.

“If I was worried, I’d have put the team in a training retreat, but I didn’t see any real difference between us and Genoa. The only thing we did wrong was not scoring a goal.”

“The worst thing is that after going a goal down, we got completely unbalanced seeking an equalizer. Quite simply, we have to be better in front of goal,” Pippo revealed.

As we know, Pippo has been coaching Bologna since June 13, 2018. He replaced Roberto Donadoni who got fired. Bologna interested to him after brought Venezia qualified the playoff round of Serie B and competed for the promotion ticket to Serie A. Unfortunately, Venezia got defeated by Palermo in the semifinal round.
