But The Telegraph reported, Pogba’s transfer to Camp Nou won’t be realized on January. According to the report, Barcelona’s reason to back off from Pogba’s hunting is due to the expensive transfer fee.
Manchester United as the owner of Pogba set the transfer fee for £200M or more than Rp3 trillion. For Barcelona, the number is not a problem. But, El Barca have to wait to avoid the sanction from Financial Fair Play regulation.
Besides the transfer fee, Barcelona don’t want to allocate the salary too high for Pogba. The player asks the salary at least £300,000 or Rp3 billion for a week.
Barcelona’s management has projected the salary allocation around £564M for the 2018-2019 season. It means, Pogba will be over budget, so it’s better to cancel the intention to recruit Pogba.
