President Atalanta says his players would be targeted by the big teams

DBasia.news – Atalanta President, Antonio Percassi assessed that his players would be targeted by various big clubs. Even though targeted by many teams, the president will defend the La Dea’s players as much as possible.
In the 2019-20 season, Atalanta finished in the top three of Serie A and penetrated the Champions League quarter-finals. This achievement, said Percassi, is a signal for other clubs to chase down Atalanta players.
One of them is Colombian striker, Duvan Zapata, who has been linked with Juventus recently. The bomber is rumored to be leaving in the transfer market this summer, although there is no certainty.
“Several players will be targeted, not only Duvan Zapata,” he said as quoted by the Italian Football, Thursday (13/8).
“However, we will do everything we can to keep them, even if the ones that are looking for are players who are difficult to turn down,” he added.
The same thing happened to Robin Gosens. Percassi claimed that the defender has been observed by several other clubs in the near future.
“Our goal is to keep the best and combine it with other players,” he concluded.
