President of FC Barcelona Finally Opens the Voice of Lautaro Martinez’s Problem

By db-admin

DBasia.news – The President of FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu, finally opened his voice about the rumors of the arrival of Lautaro Martinez. Rumors of the arrival of Martinez from Inter Milan continue to grow.

As reported by Italian Football, Bartomeu said in the meantime he would rule out plans to bring the Argentine striker.

At the moment, the president insisted he is only focused on facing the Champions League. Bartomeu assessed this event will be a cure for disappointment after Barca failed to become champions of LaLiga

“We have been in talks with Inter, but right now it’s stuck,” Bartomeu was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.

“Our focus now is on the Champions League, which is almost here,” he added.

Then what about the rumors that Lionel Messi is said to be leaving Barcelona and being linked with Inter Milan?

Bartomeu said Lionel Messi would only retire in Catalan. He was not sure that Messi would accept other big European club proposals.

“Messi has said on several occasions he wants to retire here and I have no doubt that he will renew his contract,” Bartomeu said.

Nevertheless, Barca still believes that Lautaro Martinez will move closer. Because Barca strongholds Lautaro Martinez’s determination to join Barcelona is unanimous.

To smoothen the road, Barcelona reportedly is collecting funds reaching 111 million euros, or about Rp1, 8 trillion to redeem Lautaro Martinez.
