PSSI Sends Letter to Lechia Gdansk to Release Egy Maulana Vikri

DBasia.news – U19 Indonesia national team still play without Egy Maulana Vikri during the training center in Yogyakarta, ahead of the 2018 U19 Asian Cup on October 18. The 18-year-old midfielder is still with his current club, Lechia Gdansk.

PSSI secretary general Ratu Tisha Destria confirmed that they already tried the best to persuade Lichie to release Egy. They even followed the official procedure by sending a letter to the club belong in Poland League highest division.

“Let’s see. We’ve sent the letter. We will wait for the response from Lechia about the time,” Tisha said.

Egy is slowly trusted by Lechia to enter the main squad. The former Persab Brebes player also performed great in the reserve team.

Tisha won’t hinder Egy’s progress slowly showing his talent. The 33-year-old woman assumed the competition would be the right place to build a qualified Indonesia national team.

“The position is we are ready now. In football, competition is a development. But we have sent the request since last week,” Tisha added.

Egy just scored his debut with Lechia main squad last week. At that time, coach Piotr Stokowiec played him as the starter in a match against Ukraine club, Karpaty Lwow.
