Quique Setien Doesn’t Care About Gerard Pique’s Business

DBasia.news –  Quique Setien does not care about the business of Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, because the most important thing for him is his performance when competing.

“I am not the father of my players, including Pique. I am only their coach. I will worry about one of them when they don’t practice well. What I will say to Pique is what he can and cannot do,” Setien said at Soccerway.

“Pique is mature and responsible for what he can do and what he cannot do. I saw Pique practicing well. What he did in his personal life, I didn’t take care of this,” Setien added.

Gerard Pique is building a business empire. The Barcelona defender is busy investing in everything from beverage products, eyewear, esports to organic hamburgers.

With his company Kosmos Tennis, Pique also holds a Davis Cup in Madrid. Pique even briefly attended a business course at Harvard University, United States.

Many worry that Gerard Pique’s concentration will be reduced in the world of football because of his busy business. However, Setien insisted, he was not disturbed by Pique’s behavior, as long as the defender’s performance at Barcelona remained good.

Gerard Pique himself has defended Barcelona in 26 matches in all competitions this season. Pique also contributed one goal.
