By db-admin
DBasia.news – The new Barcelona coach, Quique Setien, was present at his first press conference as Blaugrana coach. On the occasion, the former Real Betis coach promised a good game in Barcelona. Setien is also self-aware, he is not fanatical about giving the championship trophy.
Since becoming a coach in 2001, Quique Setien has not been able to win trophies with the clubs he worked on. That’s what makes him surprised to be trusted by Barcelona.
“To be honest, I can’t imagine this. I don’t have a long resume. “I didn’t win any trophies,” Quique Setien said as quoted by Diario Sport.
The only thing the 61-year-old coach promised was related to playing on the field. “The only thing I have and have shown for years is the football philosophy that I love. I have adopted the same philosophy everywhere, “Setien said.
Furthermore, Setien revealed, “Look at the teams that I train at Las Palmas and (Real) Betis. They play great football. Whenever I arrive at a new club, I only guarantee one thing, namely they will play football well. “
The promise of
Quique Setien is in accordance with the demands of the cules, as Barcelona
fans, who are already embarrassed seeing the game of Lionel Messi and
colleagues under the care of Ernesto Valverde. However, it is also quite
disappointing as El Barca management openly wants to win the Champions League
trophy with the new coach.
