Real Madrid can overtake Arsenal to recruit Houssem Aouar

DBasia.news – Olympique Lyonnais midfielder, Houssem Aouar was originally targeted by Arsenal. However, Real Madrid, which have yet to recruit new players, can overtake them.

Even so, there is still time until the summer transfer market closes on October 5, 2020. Surprise can still occur including the chance for Los Blancos to bring in new players, one of the players is Houssem Aouar.

Reported by the well-known French media, L’Equipe, the Madrid coach from France, Zinedine Zidane had asked Florentino Perez (President of Madrid) to bring in Aouar from Olympique Lyonnais.

The 22-year-old midfielder has reportedly been contacted by Zidane via telephone and spoke to each other. Zidane wants him, but if the transfer doesn’t happen this summer there is a big chance of it in 2021.

This is because Madrid felt the big impact of the corona virus pandemic and it had an impact on their financial condition. It can be seen from the absence of players who come to Madrid. So far the names associated with Madrid have been rumors.

Zidane still relies on old players in the squad such as Sergio Ramos, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Karim Benzema, Casemiro and Marcelo. As for the players who left there were Sergio Reguilon, Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez.

Aouar is one of Madrid’s targets as of the talent he has shown. Not to mention the maturity since making his professional debut in Lyon’s first team in 2017. Aouar has scored 24 goals in 140 games so far.

Having the type of playing as an attacking midfielder who can organize attacks, Aouar is also being targeted by Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal. The Gunners made an offer but Lyon has rejected it out of generosity.
