By db-admin

DBasia.news – Real Madrid had to lose Toni Kroos due to a muscle injury when Los Blancos won 3-2 away to Real Betis last weekend. The midfielder for the German national team left before the break due to discomfort in his legs.

“After the tests were carried out, today our player Toni Kroos has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the left gluteus medius by the Real Madrid Medical Service,” said a Real Madrid statement as quoted by Marca, Monday (28/9).

Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane will not be able to use the 30-year-old’s power for the next 10 to 14 days. This injury could also make Kroos miss Germany’s next match during the upcoming international break. However, Kroos usually recovers faster than expected with every minor injury.

Zidane will not be able to play Kroos for the matches against Real Valladolid and Levante. Zidane is likely to play Kroos after the international break.

Kroos joined Eder Militao and Mariano Diaz at the club’s treatment table. However, Zidane can play Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio and Marcelo for the match against Valladolid.
