Real Madrid still hopes to bring Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur. In order to gain him, as reported from Express, Los Blancos are ready to sacrifice Gareth Bale.
Real Madrid want to strengthen the central sector in the 2019 summer transfer market, because the main El Real midfielder, Luka Modric, has begun to enter the end of his career.
Madrid believes that Christian Eriksen is a suitable player to be a substitute for Modric. Moreover, Eriksen is also known to be good at providing accurate bait like Modric.
However, Tottenham Hotspur will not give the green light easily. As the Lilywhites have considered Eriksen as an important asset for the team.
El Real can take advantage of Ericksen’s remaining contract that is less than 18 months. The situation continues to make the player’s worth go down, if he does not want to sign a contract.
Real Madrid reportedly will entice Tottenham by giving Rp932 billion plus Gareth Bale. The offer is believed to destabilize Tottenham’s determination to keep Eriksen.
However, the main problem is the pay that Bale will receive. As currently the highest paid player at Tottenham is Harry Kane. The British player receives wages of up to 200 thousand pounds per week. Tottenham senior, Daniel Levy said that the salary received by Kane have damaged the club’s finance scale.
Now, Gareth Bale is expected to cut his wages to be able to join Tottenham Hotspur. On the other hand, the Welsh player is rumored to be in Arsenal’s target.
