Replacing Marco Giampolo, Massimiliano Allegri is on the AC Milan Coach Candidate List

One of Marco Giampaolo’s replacement candidates is Massimiliano Allegri. Based on the Calciomercato report, the Rossoneri are considering in contacting their ex.

At the moment, Allegri is unemployed after leaving Juventus. He was rumored to be heading to Chelsea, but failed.

Massimilano Allegri is not a new name for Milan. The 52-year-old man has led Milan to win Serie A and the Italian Super Cup.

However, Milan officials, Paolo Maldini, insists they still believe in Marco Giampaolo. According to him, changing the coach is not the way out.

“We chose a coach, we will defend him, the right choice to give him time. We know there are some problems faced, although we do not expect to lose four in the first six games,” said Maldini as reported by Sky Sport.

“The way out is by hard work. We know we are relying on young players. During the period of waiting for the coach to really be a leader, there may be a risk of pressure on them.”
