DBasia.news – There’s a lot of ways for a player to enter the national team, despite the capability as the most important consideration. For the Brasil national team, the situation is a bit different. Brasil have talented players all over the world. Sometimes, Brasil national team can’t monitor all the players for the national team call-up.

Usually, they just see the statistic. For the striker, just see the goals achievement. If that’s the consideration, there’s no chance for Richarlison to enter Brasil national team squad just like what is happening now.

Richarlison played in Europe for the first time with Watford in 2017/2018 season. Meanwhile, Watford are the average club with minimum goals. It means Richarlison’s goals achievement in Watford is also low. It’s just 5 goals in all Premier League competition.

But, a phone call from two best friends gave a great chance for Richarlison. It’s Pablo Zabaleta, the center-back of West Ham United who gave Sylvinho a phone-call. Zabaleta explained how difficult to monitor Richarlison when West Ham United met Watford on February.

“I have good friends on the continent, these guys who played with me help me,” Sylvinho said. “Zabaleta played against Watford and called me. He asked if we knew we had a spectacular player at Watford. He said he was not just good, he was “very good”. We’ve been monitoring him and he’s part of our plans.”

Interestingly, Zabaleta is Argentinian. it means, he was recommending a precious thing for the rival of his country. But, Zabaleta prioritized the friendship. Both he and Sylvinho played in the Manchester City in 2009-2010 and in contract until now.
